Amazon is seeking a Marketing Manager for Ring Appstore to own the full marketing motion across two customer segments: developers building apps for Ring and Ring customers using 3P apps.

You will drive awareness, acquisition, engagement, and retention, delivering strategic plans, multi-channel campaigns, and data-driven optimization. You will work with product, engineering, and business development to align priorities and accelerate growth.

Responsibilities

• Design, launch, and optimize multi-channel campaigns including email, in-app, push, paid media, and Ring ecosystem cross-promotion, while analyzing performance metrics to continuously improve results.
• Develop go-to-market plans for new app launches and partner programs, collaborating with product, engineering, developer relations, and business development teams to align on priorities.
• Build co-marketing playbooks that empower third-party developers to promote their apps, and regularly review data to identify growth opportunities and experiment with new marketing motions.
• Contribute to cadenced reporting and business reviews, translating funnel data into actionable insights and recommendations for leadership.

Are you excited about building the marketing engine for a new business from the ground up? We are looking for a Marketing Manager to own and drive growth for the Ring Appstore. This is not a traditional marketing role — you will run the full marketing motion for a business that connects hardware, software, and third-party integrations, taking responsibility for strategy, execution, measurement, and iteration. You will own marketing for two distinct customer segments: third-party developers who build apps for Ring, and Ring customers who subscribe and use 3P apps.

Your mission: accelerate Ring Appstore growth by driving awareness, acquisition, engagement, and retention across Ring customers and third-party app developers.

Key job responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end marketing strategy for Ring Appstore, defining targeting, channel mix, creative messaging, and A/B testing to drive awareness through conversion and retention.

A day in the life

You will run the marketing motion for a new and growing business. On a given day you might review campaign performance data before joining a cross-functional sync with product and developer relations partners, then shift to drafting messaging for an upcoming app launch. You will regularly meet with customers (Ring customers who use apps, and Developers who build apps) to understand their needs, work across internal teams to remove blockers, and experiment with new growth motions. This role gives you the chance to run a full-stack marketing program for an innovative business that connects hardware, software, and integrations.

About the team

Ring Appstore is a third-party application marketplace for Ring cameras and devices. It enables developers to build, certify, and distribute apps that extend Ring's capabilities, from professional monitoring services to smart lighting integrations and beyond.

The business is in a growth stage with an expanding app catalog, accelerating user adoption, and a maturing developer pipeline. We are building Ring Appstore to become the hub where Ring customers discover value-added services and where developers find a thriving market for smart home innovation.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
• Experience with marketing strategies in online and mobile channels
• Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
• Experience producing marketing promotional material for Owned & Operated channels
• Experience creating brand marketing content

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
• Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
