Full-Time·In Office – Scottsdale, Arizona·Reports to Chief Marketing Officer
ABOUT THE COMPANY
HB Protein Smoothies is scaling rapidly with corporate locations and multi-unit franchise deals, backed by Fransmart. Fransmart is a franchise development company specializing in identifying and scaling emerging restaurant and retail brands into national and global chains, with a track record of growing concepts like Five Guys, QDOBA, and The Halal Guys from a handful of units into powerhouse franchises.
We seek a proactive, hands-on Marketing Manager to lead grand opening execution and local store marketing across HB's growing footprint, while supporting the Chief Marketing Officer on day-to-day marketing tactics as the brand scales toward a ~500-unit vision. This is a boots-on-the-ground execution role, ideal for someone who loves being the person who makes a launch day and a local market actually work.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Manager owns two connected priorities: (1) planning and executing grand opening marketing for new corporate and franchise units, and (2) building and maintaining the local store marketing toolkit franchisees use to drive traffic in their markets. Beyond that, this role serves as the CMO's right hand — helping execute paid social, content, and tech-stack tasks as directed. You'll work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer and Brand Founders on brand compliance, and with franchisees and their teams to make sure every new location opens strong and every existing location has what it needs to market locally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Grand Opening & New Restaurant Launches
- Oversee franchisee development, and approval, of the grand opening marketing plans. As well as execution of new corporate location grand openings, start to finish.
- Maintain and continuously improve a repeatable Grand Opening Playbook that franchisees and their teams can follow.
- Work with our designer to create a library of assets to draw from for corporate and franchsiee events.
- Support local media outreach and grand opening press coverage in coordination with the CMO and PR agency.
Local Store Marketing & Franchisee Support
- Own the local store marketing toolkit: menu boards, POP (posters, easels, handhelds, window clings), and seasonal/LTO materials.
- Serve as the go-to resource for franchisees executing local marketing — community events, local sponsorships, and neighborhood outreach.
- Manage production and distribution of in-store assets so new and existing units have what they need on time.
Marketing Execution Support (reporting to the CMO)
- Assist with execution of paid social and digital ad campaigns.
- Support the organic social content calendar — production and posting across platforms.
- Help administer day-to-day tasks across the customer-facing tech stack (POS/loyalty, online ordering, email/SMS) under the CMO's direction.
- Pull basic performance reporting (social, paid, loyalty) for executive team review.
Content & Brand
- Produce on-brand content and materials for grand openings and local marketing initiatives.
- Maintain brand standard compliance across all local and franchisee-facing materials.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- A turnkey grand opening playbook that consistently drives strong turnout and first-90-day traffic.
- Local store marketing tools that franchisees actually use, with minimal hand-holding.
- Dependable, fast execution support that lets the brand team move campaigns and projects forward.
- A track record that builds toward taking on more ownership as the marketing function grows.
