Job description

We are seeking a Marketing and Brand Manager to lead day-to-day marketing for an established and growing technology services organization and an affiliated cybersecurity and compliance business.

This is a hands-on role focused on content, brand, customer engagement, digital communications, and events. The right candidate will be a strong writer and storyteller who can turn technical expertise, customer outcomes, and complex ideas into clear, credible business content.

The role is primarily focused on building brand credibility, producing substantive content, strengthening customer engagement, and ensuring the organization presents itself consistently and professionally. While these activities are expected to support business development and new customer acquisition, direct lead generation and sales pipeline ownership are not the primary focus of the position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage content plans and editorial calendars.
  • Create articles, videos, social content, newsletters, case studies, customer stories, guides, and executive thought leadership.
  • Interview executives and technical subject-matter experts and translate their expertise into clear business content.
  • Manage content from concept through production, review, publication, and promotion.
  • Plan and execute webinars, customer roundtables, workshops, educational sessions, and company events.
  • Serve as the day-to-day steward of the company's brands, messaging, voice, and visual presentation.
  • Manage website content, social media, newsletters, and other digital communications.
  • Maintain and improve sales collateral, service materials, presentations, and other customer-facing assets.
  • Coordinate outside creative resources and manage the day-to-day relationship with the marketing agency.
  • Support Sales and other teams with appropriate marketing resources while maintaining agreed priorities.
  • Monitor content, website, email, event, and audience engagement data and use it to improve marketing activities.
  • Manage the approved marketing budget and evaluate outside vendors for effectiveness and value.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B marketing, content marketing, marketing communications, brand management, or a related field.
  • Strong writing, editing, interviewing, and storytelling skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to create professional written, visual, and video content.
  • Ability to understand complex subject matter and translate it into accessible business communication.
  • Experience planning webinars, customer events, educational programs, or similar activities.
  • Working knowledge of website content management, social media, email marketing, SEO fundamentals, and digital analytics.
  • Practical video editing and graphic-design capability for routine marketing content.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills.
  • Comfortable working directly with executives, customers, technical professionals, Sales, and outside agencies.
  • Curious, self-directed, detail-oriented, and able to move work from idea to finished product.

Experience in technology, managed services, cybersecurity, professional services, compliance, or another complex B2B environment is preferred.

What Success Looks Like

Success means building a stronger and more consistent brand, producing a steady flow of useful content, increasing customer engagement, and making the organization's expertise easier for customers and prospects to understand.
