Upper Hand is seeking a talented and driven Marketing Manager to lead our marketing initiatives and drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. This is a full-time role at the heart of a fast-growing sports technology company. As a key member of the Upper Hand team, you’ll have the opportunity to shape our marketing strategy, execute impactful campaigns, and foster meaningful relationships with our clients and customers. Overview:

As the Marketing Manager, you will oversee day-to-day marketing operations, including content creation, SEO, product marketing, social media, and email campaigns. This position combines creativity, strategy, and execution to enhance Upper Hand’s brand presence and generate new business opportunities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies - Plan and lead content, SEO, email, and social media campaigns to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Manage Product Marketing - Coordinate marketing efforts for new product features and updates, crafting messaging that resonates with our target audience.
  • Content Creation and Distribution - Write, edit, and distribute engaging written content, including blog posts, case studies, and newsletters, to educate and support prospective and existing customers.
  • SEO and Website Management - Implement organic SEO strategies, maintain the company website, and design landing pages to optimize user experience and boost search rankings.
  • Collaborate with Sales - Work closely with the sales team to identify gaps, generate leads, and support the sales pipeline.
  • Customer Advocacy - Conduct interviews with customers to develop case studies and create promotional assets showcasing customer success.
  • Social Media Management - Lead social media strategy, grow engagement across platforms, and maintain a consistent brand voice.
  • Internal Communications - Organize team initiatives, distribute company updates, and manage community outreach events.
  • Mentorship and Leadership - Manage and mentor marketing interns, providing hands-on opportunities to grow their skills and contribute to impactful projects.
  • This position reports to the Founder and CEO.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced Marketer - You have 3+ years of marketing experience, with a proven track record of driving brand awareness and lead generation.
  • SEO and Analytics Pro - Hands-on experience with SEO strategies and analytics tools, with measurable results in growing organic traffic.
  • Strong Writer and Storyteller - You excel at creating compelling content and messaging that resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Digital Marketing Guru - Expertise in email marketing platforms, social media management, and website optimization.
  • Collaborative Leader - A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has experience managing teams or interns.
  • Tech-Savvy and Creative - Passionate about the intersection of technology and marketing, with the ability to think outside the box.
