Job description

Reports To: Director of Sales & Marketing

We are seeking a seasoned, strategic, and entrepreneurial Marketing Manager to spearhead growth initiatives within our dynamic hospitality portfolio. This is a senior-level, hands-on leadership role designed for a professional who thrives on the energy of a physical hotel environment.

You will be responsible for translating high-level strategy into disciplined execution, ensuring every campaign—from F&B promotions to room revenue drivers—is delivered on time, on brand, and tied to measurable business outcomes. This is not a support role; it is a results-driven position that requires deep industry knowledge and a physical presence to effectively collaborate with Operations, Revenue Management, and Sales.

Mandatory Requirements

Please note: To be considered for this position, candidates must possess prior professional experience within the hotel industry. Understanding the nuances of hotel operations, guest booking cycles, and on-property revenue streams is critical for success in this role.

Core Strategic Objectives

1. Integrated Marketing Execution

  • Own the Calendar: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and timelines across hotel rooms, food & beverage outlets, and event spaces.
  • Brand Stewardship: Ensure consistent brand voice and strict adherence to standards across all digital, print, and on-site collateral.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Actively collaborate on-property with Sales, Revenue, F&B, and Operations teams to align marketing efforts with operational realities.
  • Accountability: Serve as the primary point of ownership for campaign launches, seasonal promotions, and special events, ensuring follow-through from concept to completion.

2. Analytics, Insights & Performance

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Own marketing KPIs and dashboards. You must be comfortable analyzing channel effectiveness, ROI, and conversion rates.
  • Revenue Focus: Leverage customer data and segmentation to refine targeting strategies that drive direct bookings and ancillary revenue.
  • Market Intelligence: Proactively benchmark performance against comp sets and industry standards to identify risks and emerging trends.
  • Channel Optimization: Maintain accuracy and optimization across key hospitality channels, including OTAs, Google Business Profiles, Yelp, and TripAdvisor.
  • Web & Social: Oversee website UX optimization, content updates, and paid social execution (strategy set by Director).
  • Loyalty Integration: Manage loyalty program marketing automation and guest communications to drive repeat stays and lifetime value.
  • Mentorship: Directly manage and develop the marketing team (content, design, social), conducting regular 1:1s and performance reviews.
  • Culture of Execution: Foster an environment of accountability and fiscal discipline, setting clear success measures for all direct reports.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a marketing leader who combines creative vision with analytical rigor. The ideal candidate understands that effective hotel marketing happens on the ground, not just behind a screen.

Required Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of marketing experience specifically within the hotel or hospitality sector.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with hospitality-specific tech stacks is highly preferred, including TravelClick, booking engines, loyalty databases, and CRM platforms.
  • Digital Fluency: Proven expertise in Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Givex,SEO and familiar with hotel reservation platforms
  • Creative Skills: Ability to produce and edit assets using Adobe InDesign, Canva, or similar tools.

We offer a competitive package designed to support the health and future of our leadership team.

  • Health & Wellness: Major Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (Single or Family options).
  • Financial Security: 401(k) Plan with Matching Program; Basic Life & AD&D (100% employer-paid).
  • Income Protection: Short-Term Disability (100% employer-paid); Supplemental Life, Critical Illness, and Accident insurance available.
  • Work-Life Balance:
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Paid Leave Time (up to 40 hours/year)
  • 9 Paid Holidays per year
  • Partially-Paid Parental Leave
  • Pet Insurance
  • Incentive Programs
  • Employee Assistance Program
