Job summary

EdVenture is seeking a Marketing Manager to be its visual communicator and brand guardian, shaping on-site and online engagement. You will craft digital campaigns, create compelling visual assets, and manage online communities to build strong public connections with the museum.

The role requires a 3–5 year track record in design/marketing, multimedia production, and a passion for storytelling. It offers a 40-hour week in a museum setting with evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in visual/graphic design, marketing, communications, or related field with 3-5 years of related work experience.
  • Knowledge related to website management, analytics, and metrics.
  • Able to organize and manage multiple priorities, while demonstrating strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with graphic design, photography, videography, and social media.
  • Proficient in communicating effectively visually, verbally, and in written form.
  • Problem solver and solutions-focused team member.
  • Able to translate core business concepts into compelling visuals and engaging storytelling.
  • Exhibit a curious, positive, and enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Understanding of the non-profit sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce a wide range of promotional materials, including digital/print graphics, advertisements, and marketing collateral.
  • Capture, edit, and organize photos and video libraries of museum exhibits, events, and programs.
  • Ensure all marketing content aligns with the museum's marketing strategies and brand.
  • Manage and schedule daily content across the museum's social media platforms, actively engaging with followers and responding to inquiries promptly.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute social media campaigns that drive engagement and reach.
  • Monitor and manage EdVenture's online reputation using platforms such as Google, Trip Advisor, Yelp, etc.
  • Assist with website design, updates, and content management, ensuring a user-friendly, up-to-date, and visually appealing online presence.
  • Collect and analyze metrics, reports, and website data, making suggestions for improved engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage emerging trends in digital and social media marketing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of the museum's activities.

Job description

The Marketing Manager serves as EdVenture's visual communicator and brand guardian, driving engagement both online and on-site. Working closely with the Marketing Department, this role will execute digital marketing campaigns, create compelling visual assets, and manage online communities to build strong public connection with the museum.

Work Schedule and Conditions

Regular schedule of 40 hours per week in a museum environment. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Requires prolonged standing, walking, and lifting.
