Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Marketing Lead to drive proposal development, marketing materials, and strategic client engagement. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to craft persuasive content, design sharp documents, and maintain brand messaging across pursuits in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll oversee capture planning, develop compelling messaging, and support interviews and debriefs to sharpen future opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in proposal and presentation planning and coordination, page layout, drafting tailored proposal content, graphics development, and editing. AEC industry experience is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with emphasis on superior persuasive writing/editing and presentation ability.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.); and MS Office (PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Promote MKTG 360o Services by coordinating with Digital, Comms and Creative Services teams for campaigns, events, conferences and advertising to enhance client reach.
• Capture planning and proposal development: lead complex proposals, presentations and marketing materials using Winning on the Left principles.
• Develop sales messages, benefits and compelling qualifications to win work; manage schedules and storyboarding; write/edit/tailor sections; review for RFP compliance and messaging; oversee production and delivery.
• Strategic client development: research clients/competitors, identify gaps, and leverage debriefs to improve future pursuits.
• Maintain and leverage marketing information using systems such as Unanet Cosential, Monday.com, and OpenAsset.
