Finpilot is hiring a Field Marketing Lead to build and own the marketing function, focusing on events, conferences and targeted gatherings for investment leaders. You will shape messaging and collaboration with leadership to create meaningful industry presence.
The role emphasizes hands-on execution, direct engagement with CIOs and senior decision makers, and a drive to establish Finpilot as a central community in institutional finance while learning the domain quickly.
Finpilot is the AI-native operating system for institutional capital.
Our customers decide where the long-term capital of the economy goes. They are the investment offices behind universities and governments, public pensions and foundations, hospital systems and insurers, families and asset managers, each managing tens to hundreds of billions of dollars. This is the capital that pays for research, medicine and retirement.
Those teams still work across five systems built before AI, with a person in the middle moving information between them by hand. The people trusted with these decisions spend most of their week assembling information instead of judging it.
We are rebuilding that from the ground up. Finpilot unifies every system and every document an investment office holds into a single shared brain, then runs AI agents on top of it. The agents do the work: the research, the analysis, the diligence, and the ongoing watch on every manager and every position. They run continuously in the background, at a depth no team could staff for, and bring people in for the decisions.
Human intelligence where it counts. AI agents everywhere else.
Some of the largest and most respected pools of capital in the country run on Finpilot today, and several have made it the core platform for their office. This is an industry that changes its software about once a generation, and it is changing now.
Finpilot is a Series A company backed by Madrona Venture Group and Lobby Capital. We are a small team with deep expertise in finance and technology. We bring decades of financial industry experience and have previously built fintech companies acquired by Nasdaq and ADP. For three years we have focused on the hardest part of applying AI to this industry: precision and accuracy, because the numbers we produce end up in front of investment committees.
Institutional investing runs on relationships and trust. The investment leaders we work with learn from each other, compare notes on what is working, and rely on people they know. Much of how institutions discover Finpilot today happens in person, through conversations at industry gatherings and introductions from people who already use it. We have never had a marketing function. You will build it.
You will help Finpilot show up thoughtfully where investment leaders already spend their time, and create new places for them to come together. That means a meaningful presence at the industry’s important conferences, small gatherings and dinners where CIOs and investment teams can talk candidly about how AI is changing their work, and visits to the cities where our clients and future clients are.
This role is about people and relationships more than brand campaigns or writing. You will be the person who brings our community together.
You do not need a background in institutional finance, though it helps. You do need to be curious about it and willing to learn it quickly. We will teach you the domain.
This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of institutional finance and frontier AI, at the moment an entire industry is changing its software. If you want to build the community around that change, we’d like to talk.
