Job description

About Finario

Finario is a fast-growing SaaS company providing intelligent capital planning and portfolio strategy solutions to leading industrial enterprises worldwide. A few numbers worth knowing:

  • Revenue is strong and accelerating: Real sustainable growth, not a story built on burn rate

  • Purpose-built product: Finario is one of the first platforms built specifically for enterprise Capex. True specialist focus in one category

  • Trusted by billion-dollar enterprises: Notable clients include Amway, Bausch + Lomb, and Sephora; all run their capital planning on Finario

  • Investing in innovation: Finario has built its own purpose-built AI (Finario Predict) for capital project forecasting and benchmarking, so you'd be joining a product team that's actively pushing the category forward, not maintaining a legacy tool

  • High-stakes work: this is core infrastructure for finance and ops leaders, not a nice-to-have. Our platform directly shapes how enterprises decide where to put hundreds of millions of dollars in capital investment

About the Role

Team Overview

Reporting to the VP Marketing, the Head of Product Marketing leads Finario's product marketing function and sits at the intersection of Product, Sales, Customer Success and Marketing. You'll work closely with our product leadership, sales leadership and customer-facing teams, and partner directly with enterprise clients to shape how Finario shows up in the market.

Position Overview

As Head of Product Marketing, you'll own how Finario's products are positioned, understood and sold. You'll lead product marketing end-to-end, from target market definition, messaging and pricing to showing up as a real partner to Product, Sales and executive leadership.

You'll shape the narratives that drive pipeline and retention, lead sales enablement and thought leadership, and help define how Finario leads the enterprise capital planning category. This role is for someone who has done this before: equally comfortable in a strategy doc and in front of a sales team, and who knows how to build things that actually move revenue. This position is based in Stamford, CT with our offices directly across from the train station.

What you’ll do:

  • Own product marketing strategy: Lead Product marketing strategy for Finario's platform, including target market definition, positioning, messaging, pricing and expansion into new industries and markets.

  • Tell the value story: Translate complex capabilities, such as Finario Predict, our AI for capital project forecasting and benchmarking, into clear, value-based narratives and ROI proof points that resonate with CFOs, FP&A leaders and operations executives at large industrial enterprises.

  • Shape market and product strategy: Partner with our Head of Product to conduct competitive and market analyseis, bring the voice of the market into planning, and influence the product roadmap.

  • Enable Sales to win: Build enablement that helps reps win: pitch frameworks, competitive intelligence, objection handling, customer proof points and business-case tools. Develop the training systems and curriculum that improve win rates and shorten long, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.

  • Make demos do real work: Own demo strategy and storylines, including interactive demos, so that they move enterprise deals forward rather than just showing features.

  • Create assets that convert: Develop and continuously refine collateral, sales tools and product storytelling assets that improve engagement and conversion across the buyer journey.

  • Drive revenue and retention: Partner with Sales and Customer Success to grow revenue, improve retention and expansion, and turn customer wins into case studies, references and stories that build credibility.

  • Build thought leadership: Establish Finario as the authority on enterprise capital planning through content, public speaking and media contributions, including at our traveling series of customer days and with our customer advisory board.

  • Get found where buyers look: Ensure product messaging feeds our organic search strategy, and lead generative engine optimization (GEO) content so Finario shows up where buyers research, including in AI-generated answers.

  • Orchestrate launches: Drive launch planning across Product, Marketing and Sales so new capabilities are coordinated, aligned with our broader platform innovation, and land with impact.

  • Lead and grow the team: Build and lead the product marketing function, hiring and developing talent as Finario scales.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, including leading or mentoring a team, ideally in B2B SaaS selling to finance, operations or data-driven enterprise buyers

  • A track record of owning product marketing strategy and connecting it to revenue outcomes

  • Deep familiarity with solution and value-based selling, and the ability to shape how Sales teams position and close complex enterprise deals

  • Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences, from finance executives to internal teams

  • Comfort and skill in presenting to live audiences, whether at a trade show or on a webinar

  • Proven ability to drive results-focused marketing strategies while maintaining a clear strategic vision

  • Strong ability to collaborate across teams, influence without direct authority and build credibility with Product, Sales and customer stakeholders

  • Comfort with finance concepts such as ROI, NPV and budgeting, and the ability to speak credibly to finance audiences

  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a deep understanding of market trends and customer needs

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, navigating ambiguity with confidence and building structure from the ground up

  • Bachelor's degree required

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • MBA

  • Background in CFO-office software such as FP&A, EPM/CPM, ERP, spend management or capital planning

  • Experience marketing to industrial, manufacturing or other asset-intensive enterprises

  • Experience with pricing and packaging strategy

  • A track record of thought leadership, such as public speaking, published content or media contributions

  • Familiarity with AI tools and SEO/GEO, with a clear point of view on how to apply them to marketing workflows and content at scale

What's In It for You:

  • Build and lead the function: Own product marketing at Finario end-to-end, with the room to shape how it works and grow the team

  • A story worth telling: Bring a purpose-built, AI-powered platform for enterprise Capex to market in a category we're actively defining

  • Benefits: competitive total rewards package including Health, Dental, 401k, PTO, discretionary bonus and more!

  • The little things matter: Fully funded parking (or hop the train, we're right across the street), stunning modern office space

The typical pay range for this position Is $125,000 to $200,000. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
