Job summary

Harbor Group Management Co. is seeking a proactive Marketing Intern for Summer 2027 in Norfolk, VA.

You will gain hands-on experience in corporate marketing, branding, and social media while contributing real work under HGMC branding. You will manage an original social campaign from concept to completion, support the annual leadership conference, and assist with market research, communications, and content creation.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited 4-year degree program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.5.
• 10-week commitment June through August.
• Willing to travel for Kick-Off and Capstone events.
• One year of customer service work experience.
• Interest in marketing, communications, social media, or brand management.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute a real marketing project from start to finish, including social media campaigns and conference support.
• Assist with brand research, competitor scans, and social presence monitoring.
• Support acquisitions/dispositions marketing with property information and social announcements.
• Join community visits to document branding on-site and capture photos.
• Assist with internal communications, newsletters, and the creation of decks and announcements.
