Job summary

U.S. Venture, Inc., through the IGEN division, is seeking a Marketing Intern to support demand generation, events, digital marketing, and product marketing.

This onsite internship in Appleton, WI starts August 2026 with part-time hours during the semester and full-time hours during breaks; you will assist with event planning, calendar maintenance, presentations, website updates, social posts, and basic market research.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• Junior or Senior status preferred.
• Interest in B2B marketing, digital marketing, events, or product marketing.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn and digital marketing concepts.
• Experience with AI-enabled tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot.
• Experience with WordPress, HubSpot, or other marketing platforms is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate in-person and virtual events; manage logistics and registrations.
• Document action items and track tasks; coordinate meetings.
• Maintain marketing calendars and campaign schedules.
• Organize marketing assets and sales collateral.
• Prepare presentations and marketing documents.
• Review website pages for accuracy and maintain content.
• Prepare for webinars and manage post-event activities.
• Draft social media posts and schedule content.
• Conduct basic market, customer, and competitor research.
• Assist with data entry and CRM updates.
• Support reporting by gathering marketing data for internal reports.
• Utilize AI tools to improve productivity in creating and organizing content.
• Assist with additional marketing initiatives and special projects.
