Job summary

Ameritas is seeking a Marketing Intern – Content and Campaigns to support the production of marketing messaging, asset creation, tracking and planning. This hybrid role in Lincoln, NE will involve in-office and remote work and starts in May 2027 as part of our marketing team.

You are enrolled in a college program (marketing/advertising/business), can commit year‑round (PT during the academic year, FT in summer), and bring strong writing, proofreading and Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a college program for the internship (marketing/advertising/business).
• Commitment year-round: part-time during the academic year and full-time in the summer.
• PT includes 15-20 hours per week.
• FT includes 30-40 hours per week.
• Ability to stay organized while managing multiple projects.
• Strong writing and proofreading skills.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong work ethic and adaptability to changes.
• Eagerness to learn new systems and processes.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the production of marketing messaging, asset creation, tracking and planning.
• Assist in coordinating video production projects (live and animated).
• Write marketing content (blogs, webpages and video descriptions).
• Learn to navigate WorkFront for project setup and tracking.
• Facilitate content audits to keep content up-to-date across platforms.
• Assist with promotion, tracking and measurement of marketing strategies via email and social media.
