Job summary

Ameritas in Lincoln, Nebraska, offers a Marketing Intern - Community Relations internship to support the team in developing, producing and implementing the Company's corporate relations initiatives. The role ensures the brand is represented through community partnerships.

The internship begins in May 2027 and is a hybrid position with in-office and remote work in Lincoln, NE. You will gain exposure to budgeting, nonprofit engagement, sponsorship messaging, and communications support.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college program at least half-time.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in event planning, design, and administrative work.
• Ability to adapt to change and build relationships.
• Commit to a 12-month internship (summer full-time, school year part-time).

Responsibilities

• Process and track donation budgets.
• Connect with local nonprofit organizations.
• Assist with community sponsorship messaging, tracking, research, and planning.
• Manage community relations databases.
• Provide support in writing internal and external communications.
• Take on additional projects as assigned.
