Job summary

Scalo Inc. is seeking a Marketing Intern to support the daily operations of the Marketing department in our Pittsburgh office for 12 weeks.

You will assist in brand and product marketing, identify advertising opportunities, work with creative agencies, and help with social media and email campaigns.

Must be pursuing a bachelors degree in marketing, have strong written and verbal communication, and be able to work 20–40 hours weekly between 8 AM and 5 PM.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelors degree in marketing or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication with accuracy and detail.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a Marketing Intern responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the Marketing department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate and assist in the development and execution of brand and product marketing efforts
• Assist in the identification of new advertising opportunities and evaluate their performance
• Assist the Marketing Specialist with the company's relationships with creative agencies, PR firms, and suppliers
• Assist in social media and email marketing campaigns
• Assist the Marketing Specialist with special projects and assignments as needed
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
• Proficiency in Adobe design creative suite and Microsoft Office is preferred
• Have ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to work independently and within a team effectively.
• Possess a strong sense of accountability and high work standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on accuracy and details
• Must be able to work between 20-40 hours a week between 8 AM and 5 PM
