Job description

Job Summary: Marketing Intern provides administrative and creative support to the communications and marketing team by monitoring social media platforms, preparing and scheduling posts, and updating marketing materials to align with branding standards. Assists with compiling and formatting internal newsletter content, updating PowerPoint presentations, supporting corporate events, and handling additional marketing and administrative tasks as assigned

Responsibilities
  • Administrative support for communications and marketing team
  • Monitor social media platforms, prepare and schedule social media posts
  • Update current marketing materials to adhere to branding standards
  • Compile and format internal newsletter content
  • Update PowerPoint presentations based on provided materials as needed
  • Support with corporate planned events
  • Other tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • Availability to be on site on a hybrid manner at the Phoenix office, flexible hours during the workweek and open business hours (depending upon your outside commitments)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; exceptional interpersonal traits
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Experience with Canva, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, ChatGPT, etc.
  • Must be able to work with and maintain confidential information
  • A team player who can multi-task, work independently and prioritize efficiently
  • Ability to perform under difficult conditions, such as simultaneous deadlines all while maintaining a customer service attitude
  • Ability to work independently and be reliable with deadlines
  • Ability to compose articulate and grammatically correct written communication
  • Ability to work with cross‑functional teams across the US (travel not required)
  • Flexibility in work tasks and flow on the day to day
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior internship or academic experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign; Photoshop or Illustrator is a plus
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting tools
  • Familiarity with content scheduling platforms such as Hootsuite, Sprout, or Meta Business Suite
  • Strong attention to detail with an eye for visual design and branding consistency
  • Experience supporting events, campaigns, or internal communications initiatives
  • Interest in digital marketing trends, branding, and corporate communications
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools, platforms, and processes in a fast‑paced environment
