Qualifications

• Must have a clear understanding of industry trends and a keen sense for emerging innovations.
• Well-developed analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Should be multi-tasked, team player, creative, disciplined, with a sense of urgency.
• Strong Excel, ACCESS, PowerPoint, and Outlook facility, plus accurate data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify trendsetter products / suppliers by researching industry.
• Identify potential new business partners; discover and explore opportunities to grow business.
• Assist in developing new client leads and broadening division portfolio.
• Maintain system pricing and promotion; keep Customer Service informed.
• Coordinate activities with the assigned Director and interface with field sales and buyers.
• Provide item set-up, suggested order quantities, and communicate status to sales force.
• Work with EIS team on reports and market/sales analysis reporting.
• Track presentations, promotions, and category reviews; draw insights from results.
• Perform ad hoc requests for supervisor and support to clients.
