Job summary

Ameristar Casino Hotel Council Bluffs is seeking applicants for a Casino Guest Service role. You will arrange hospitality for guests, assist with rooms, food, beverages, and special requests, and promote promotions to encourage guest participation.

Ideal candidates have an Associate's degree or equivalent, at least one year of guest service or hosting experience, strong communication and diplomacy, and the ability to write reports while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• AA or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• One year hosting experience preferred
• Ability to present information to groups of managers, clients, guests, and the public
• Ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems diplomatically
• Maintain confidentiality and a high level of professionalism
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence

BRING US YOUR BEST.

• Associate's degree (AA.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; minimum of one year Casino Guest Service experience, including but not limited to Player Development, Slots or Table Games; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• One (1) year of hosting experience with adequate guest following preferred.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, guests, and the general public.
• Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and a high level of professionalism at all times.
