Cincinnati Art Museum is seeking a Marketing Events Coordinator to plan and execute engaging events in Cincinnati. The role collaborates with the marketing, special events, café, and philanthropy teams, coordinating internal resources and external vendors to deliver memorable experiences.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree with at least two years of experience, nonprofit experience preferred, and the ability to work evening hours.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required with at least 2 years’ experience.
  • Nonprofit experience preferred.
  • Proven success planning and implementing events.
  • Excellent communication and people skills for fast-paced teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Art After Dark, CAM’s monthly final Friday event, onsite during setup, duration, and teardown.
  • Create, lead, and implement new programming for CAM’s extended Thursday evening hours.
  • Help build CAM’s holiday program with interdepartmental support.
  • Coordinate with the marketing department for events and media previews.
  • Arrange staff resources to support events and manage internal hospitality.
  • Collaborate with marketing and design to promote events to the public.
  • Assist onsite with photo and video shoots as needed.
  • Develop attendance goals and strategies to meet them.
  • Manage event budgets and ensure financial soundness; deliver post‑event reports.
  • Be available to work evening hours as required.
