Job summary

The Cincinnati Art Museum is seeking a Marketing Events Coordinator to plan and lead engaging events, including Art After Dark, and to develop new programming for extended evening hours. The role requires strong communication, budget management, and the ability to coordinate internal teams and external vendors.

Reporting to Marketing & Communications, you will help promote events, collaborate across departments, and ensure successful post‑event reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of nonprofit event experience.
  • Proven success planning and implementing events.
  • Excellent communication and people skills in a fast-paced team setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and basic budgeting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Art After Dark and CAM’s monthly events; chair interdepartmental committees.
  • Develop and implement new programming for extended Thursday evening hours.
  • Assist with holiday programs and promotional events with marketing and partners.
  • Coordinate staff resources and external vendors; promote events publicly.
  • Ensure event budgets and post-event reporting; manage timelines.
