Lightship is seeking a marketing leader to own strategy, team, and results. You will shape a strategy that builds brand exposure and measurable sales ROI, while guiding the marketing organization through the growth stage of a hardware company.

Based in Broomfield, CO or South San Francisco, CA, the role requires frequent in-office presence (3–5 days/week) with travel between the Bay Area and Colorado, and participation in owner events and shoots (up to 25% travel).

Qualifications

• 10+ years in marketing, including 4+ leading a team.
• Experience marketing a high-consideration, physical product with a long sales cycle.
• A data-driven approach; you set measurable goals, track attribution, and change course based on results.
• Excellent storytelling, with the ability to make technical products accessible and compelling.
• Experience building a team and marketing function from an early stage.

Responsabilités

• Set the marketing strategy, then execute it and align it across the company.
• Own the full funnel (paid, organic, lifecycle, PR, events, partnerships, owner community, website).
• Lead and grow the marketing team (3 direct reports) with clear goals and coaching.
• Drive demand with sales to build a reservation-to-delivery funnel.
• Support the PowerSled positioning and channel strategy with the commercial team.
• Work with product on shop floor, gather insights, and feed them into the work.
• Measure marketing dashboards and optimize investments.
