Job summary

Colliers in Chicago, IL seeks a Marketing Director to lead the strategic vision and execution of marketing for a major market. You will drive brand growth, client acquisition, and business performance by guiding a high-performing team and partnering with market leadership and regional stakeholders.

You will oversee digital transformation, multi-channel campaigns, and data-driven optimization to differentiate the organization in the marketplace.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business is required.
  • 10+ years of marketing experience with 5+ years in strategic leadership.
  • Experience in commercial real estate, professional services, or B2B marketing.
  • Proven track record leading teams and full-funnel programs.
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office, including high-level presentation development.
  • Experience overseeing web, social, video, paid media, and integrated campaigns.
  • CRM (Salesforce), CMS, marketing automation, and reporting tools proficiency.
  • Experience with AI tools for efficiency, personalization, and content innovation.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, paid media, lead gen, and analytics platforms.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships for creative, digital, PR.

Responsibilities

  • Guide marketing operations, including budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and performance tracking to ensure efficient and effective execution for marketing-related activities.
  • Partner with regional PR on the communications and PR strategy, ensuring consistent brand messaging across internal and external channels.
  • Evaluate and implement marketing technologies and platforms to enhance scalability, automation, data visibility, and operational excellence.

About You

The Marketing Director leads the strategic vision and execution of all marketing efforts for a major market. This role leads the development of innovative, high-impact marketing strategies that drive brand growth, client acquisition, and business performance for the market. You will oversee a team of marketers, ensures cross-functional alignment, and partners closely with market leadership, business development, and regional stakeholders. This role demands a visionary yet practical leader with deep expertise in brand strategy, digital transformation, campaign development, team leadership, and performance analytics.

In this role, you will…

What You’ll Bring

Approximate Salary Range for this Role $136,884 to $150,000 USD

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Bonus

This position is eligible for an annual bonus, based on company and individual performance.

Employees (and their families) are provided options for employer subsidized medical benefits including dental, vision as well as employer paid basic life/AD&D insurance and short-term / long-term disability. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes an employer match. Employees will also receive 10 days of sick leave and a minimum of 15-days vacation annually. Certain senior-level roles are eligible for unlimited time off. Employees will also enjoy 10 paid holidays plus two personal flex days throughout the calendar year. Twelve weeks (for birth parents) and 4 weeks (for non-birth parents, including adoptive/foster parents) for paid parental leave will also be available for use after successful completion of 90 days of employment. Individuals may be eligible for different or additional benefits under applicable state law.
