Job description

About Us

Founded in 1959, Delaware Valley Floral Group (DVFG) has grown from a small family business into one of the nation's largest floral distribution companies. For more than six decades, we’ve delivered premium fresh flowers and floral supplies to retail florists, event designers, and supermarkets across the country.

We aim to be our customers’ most valuable supplier - and we believe our employees are the key to making that happen.

About The Role

The Marketing Director is responsible for developing and executing the B2B marketing strategy that strengthens brand awareness, generates qualified leads, and increases engagement among retail florists, event designers, supermarkets, and other business customers. Reporting to the CRO, this position aligns marketing priorities, investments, and performance with business and revenue goals while personally executing high-priority campaigns, content, and messaging. This is a player-coach role that combines strategic leadership with hands‑on execution.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in digital marketing, content strategy, and performance analytics, with a track record of translating business objectives into measurable marketing results.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and own the annual marketing strategy, roadmap, and priorities, aligning initiatives with company and revenue goals.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing programs across digital and print channels, including content marketing, SEO, social media marketing, performance marketing and e-commerce.
  • Drive multichannel campaigns that increase brand awareness, lead generation, customer engagement, and measurable business results.
  • Use market research, customer insights, competitive analysis, and performance data to identify opportunities and inform marketing strategy.
  • Personally develop high-priority B2B content and messaging, including website copy, email campaigns, blogs, product descriptions, and sales‑support materials, while establishing the content strategy and guiding the broader marketing calendar.
  • Partner closely with product and sales to align marketing programs with revenue objectives, strengthen lead generation and sales support, and develop campaigns and materials for B2B customers.
  • Own the marketing budget and resource allocation, using performance data to monitor ROI, forecast spend, and communicate results and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Build and develop the marketing team while remaining actively involved in day‑to‑day execution. Manage team members and external partners through clear priorities, performance management, hiring, capability development, agency and freelancer oversight, and succession planning.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role primarily operates in an office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment, including computers, phones, printers and other office technology. The position may occasionally require visits to warehouse and cooler environments, including areas maintained at approximately 34 degrees.

The role requires the ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer, as well as the ability to talk, hear, read, and communicate effectively. Occasional bending, stooping, and transporting office supplies or equipment may be required. Specific vision abilities may include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
