Job summary

Newton Community Education (NCE) is a self-sustaining arm of Newton Public Schools delivering high-quality classes and experiences at a reasonable cost. The Marketing Designer will develop and execute creative digital and print marketing to support enrollment growth, revenue goals, and brand awareness, managing email campaigns, website updates, social media, and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Advertising, Digital Media, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in marketing, graphic design, communications, or a related field.
• Experience developing and executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design, digital communications, email marketing, and print materials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies, platforms, and digital workflows.
• Ability to work in-office 5 days a week; occasional weekend availability for community events.

Responsibilities

• Email Marketing & Design: manage targeted campaigns through Constant Contact with engaging content.
• Print Marketing & Design: lead design/production of catalogs, brochures, flyers, and posters.
• Website Management: update WordPress site, optimize usability, SEO and accessibility.
• Social Media Marketing & Design: create content and graphics for campaigns across platforms.
• Strategy & Analytics: develop multi-channel plans and analyze performance metrics.
• Project Management & Collaboration: coordinate content, approvals, schedules, and launches.
• Digital Systems & Content Management: maintain content across platforms and improve workflows.
