  • Portfolio samples required; packaging design is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage graphic design projects across multiple mediums (sell sheets, catalogs, brochures, ads, digital, web, social).
  • Create visual assets for product launches, marketing campaigns, and corporate initiatives.
  • Art direct photography and video shoots; manage assets across marketing channels.
  • Maintain brand assets, logos, templates, and style guides to ensure branding consistency.
  • Create and maintain packaging artwork; coordinate with printers and vendors; support packaging updates.

Job Summary: What You'll Do:

This position plays a key role in supporting design, multimedia, and packaging initiatives across all company brands. The role is responsible for creating marketing materials, digital assets, photography, video content, and packaging artwork that support brand and business objectives. Utilizing Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant technologies, the Design & Marketing Specialist will help ensure consistent branding and the successful execution of marketing initiatives across multiple platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design Responsibilities (50% of duties)
  • Manage graphic design projects across a variety of mediums including sell sheets, catalogs, brochures, magazine ads, tradeshow graphics, presentations, digital advertising, website graphics, social media content, and other promotional materials.
  • Create visual assets for product launches, marketing campaigns, and corporate initiatives.
  • Art direct and participate in photography and video shoots, creating visual assets for use across marketing channels through planning, production, proofing, editing, and asset management.
  • Support brand management efforts by maintaining logo files, templates, style guides, and other brand assets while ensuring all creative work aligns with established brand standards.
Packaging & Responsibilities (40% of duties)
  • Create, revise, and maintain packaging artwork for labels, bags, and other packaging formats across all company brands and contract manufacturing partnerships.
  • Support the company's packaging program through artwork creation, file management, proofing, printer coordination, and implementation of approved packaging updates.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Design & Content Specialist to ensure packaging artwork meets regulatory, manufacturing, branding, and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate with print vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely artwork production.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of packaging processes, specifications, regulatory requirements, and production workflows.
Writing & Technical Content Responsibilities (10% of duties)
  • Assist in the maintenance of technical documents, including Technical Data Sheets (TDS) and Safety Data Sheets (SDS), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Translate complex technical information into clear and user-friendly content.
  • Edit and proofread technical materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and compliance.
General Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager and other company leaders to complete daily tasks and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Develop technical and application knowledge of company brands and product lines to properly support marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with company employees, suppliers, contract manufacturing partners, and customers.
  • Uphold the professional image and reputation of the company while ensuring timely problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform work with a high degree of attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and proper grammar.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, WordPress, and other relevant technologies.
  • Must provide samples of design work or a portfolio; packaging design is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, work independently, and with a team.
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute projects with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the construction materials industry is a plus.
Pay Range:

$55,000-$65,000 annually
