Location: Plymouth, MN | Hybrid, onsite Tuesday - Thursday

About the Role
Our firm is partnering with a leading global manufacturer in the powersports, mobility, and recreational vehicle industry to identify a Marketing Data Analyst. This organization leverages data-driven decision making to support marketing effectiveness, customer engagement, retail performance, and overall business growth. This role is ideal for a highly technical analyst who enjoys working with large datasets, solving complex data challenges, and transforming raw information into actionable insights. The successful candidate will be naturally curious, detail-oriented, and motivated to continuously learn and improve reporting and analytics processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries to support reporting, analysis, data validation, and ongoing business needs.
- Own, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, datasets, reporting logic, and documentation to ensure accuracy and usability.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, uncover insights, and support business decision-making.
- Partner with data engineering teams to improve data quality, strengthen data foundations, and support scalable analytics solutions.
- Perform root cause analysis related to reporting discrepancies, data quality issues, and unexpected business performance outcomes.
- Investigate raw data to answer business questions and provide actionable recommendations.
- Translate business requirements into reporting specifications, data requirements, and repeatable analytical solutions.
- Collaborate with marketing, analytics, retail, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver trusted and impactful reporting.
- Support marketing performance measurement and contribute to data-driven marketing strategies.
Qualifications
- Required Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Business, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related data-focused role.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience querying, transforming, troubleshooting, and validating large datasets.
- Experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, datasets, and reporting solutions.
- Experience working with large-scale data environments and complex data structures.
- Experience with Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse platform.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and drive projects forward with minimal oversight.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate data findings into business recommendations.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a continuous learning mindset.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in marketing analytics, digital marketing measurement, campaign performance reporting, or customer journey analytics.
- Background supporting marketing or retail‑focused business teams.
- Experience with DAX, Power Query, and data modeling best practices.
- Familiarity with demand generation, customer insights, or consumer behavior analytics.
- Experience partnering with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment.
- Knowledge of modern analytics ecosystems and data visualization best practices.
