Job summary

Newport Aquarium in Kentucky, part of Herschend Family Entertainment Corporation, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support the Brand Manager in developing and distributing marketing messages across traditional and digital channels to strengthen the brand and drive attendance and revenue.

The role involves planning promotional campaigns, coordinating content and deadlines, updating copy for collateral, website and email, and assisting with events, media shoots and partnerships.

Qualifications

• College diploma preferred in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Public Relations or Communications.
• Ability to track and manage project timelines and deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work independently and with a team.
• Experience in entertainment/attractions industry preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel; familiarity with project tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Support in development, planning and execution of promotional campaigns, festivals, events and products.
• Coordinate workflow to ensure content is supplied on schedule.
• Update or create copy for collateral, website and email; manage approval processes.
• Ensure website and signage information is up to date; handle asset accuracy.
• Champion promotions and coordinate with internal teams and sponsors.
• Publish events to community calendars and relevant groups.
• Assist with planning and execution of member and general admission events.
• Collect content for promotional calendars and share with management.
• Attend media and film shoots and support campaign launches.
