Job summary

KPFF Consulting Engineers in Portland, Oregon is hiring a full-time Marketing Coordinator to join our structural engineering division. The role focuses on copyediting, content coordination, and creating materials to support qualification, proposal, pursuit, recruiting, and marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate is ambitious, thoughtful, and detail-oriented, with a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of marketing experience in related industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Education, Business or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years professional experience in marketing; architecture, engineering, or construction industries are a plus
• Excellent writing, proofreading, editing, and document production skills; strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, copyedit, and format subconsultant qualification requests and client deliverables
• Support development of proposal submissions through direct collaboration with technical staff, project managers, and other marketing team members
• Maintain the marketing database (Cosential); input and update client, project, and other supporting information
• Maintain content library, including previous proposals, boilerplates, and visuals
• Prepare and create written and graphic materials for internal and external audiences; including presentations, advertisements, articles, brochures, press releases, and other promotional collateral
• Coordinate awards competition entries; ensure compliance with award requirements
• Support internal communications efforts
• Coordinate specialized consultants (photographers, videographers, etc.)
• Maintain staff registrations and professional staff licensures
• Assist in the coordination of internal events (quarterly meetings, annual community and client events, food drives, internal company culture events, exhibits and conferences)
