Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a motivated Marketing Coordinator to assist with planning, execution, and tracking of campaigns in Welkom, Free State. The role covers content creation, social media, events, and data analysis, supporting the marketing manager and sales teams.

You will gain hands-on experience across digital and offline channels while contributing to brand awareness and lead generation for our local market.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a marketing support or coordination role.
• Familiarity with marketing principles and channels (digital, print, events).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with social media platforms and basic content creation tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with marketing automation tools or CRM systems is a plus.
• Understanding of Welkom and Free State business landscape is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Coordinate creation of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, social media posts, and website content.
• Manage and update the company's social media profiles, scheduling posts and engaging with the audience.
• Support planning and execution of marketing events, trade shows, and webinars.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Help maintain and update the company website and CRM database.
• Track and report on performance of marketing campaigns, gathering data and creating summaries.
• Provide administrative support to the marketing department, including budget tracking and vendor management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure marketing efforts align with business goals.
• Assist with email marketing campaigns, including content creation and distribution.
