The Marketing Coordinator
will support the execution of marketing initiatives within an assigned vertical (HVAC, Plumbing, or Appliance Parts), helping to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation among contractor and trade professional audiences. This role is responsible for coordinating campaigns across multiple channels including email, social media, print, and digital, while developing deep familiarity with the products, vendor partnerships, and manufacturers within their specialized industry. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Industry Marketing and collaborate with the centralized creative studio to bring marketing programs to life.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute marketing campaigns and initiatives as directed by the Director of Industry Marketing, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to brand standards
- Coordinate and support local and regional events including counter days, customer appreciation events, trade shows, training sessions, and vendor-sponsored activities
- Create, schedule, and publish social media content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others as assigned, maintaining consistent brand voice and engagement
- Develop and deploy email marketing campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp, including list management, segmentation, A/B testing, and performance reporting
- Coordinate with the creative studio to develop print and digital marketing materials including flyers, sell sheets, promotional signage, digital ads, and sales collateral
- Monitor and report on social media analytics using Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, and other platform tools to track engagement, reach, and campaign performance
- Maintain and update CRM records to support marketing campaigns, lead tracking, and customer communications
- Build and maintain relationships with vendor partners and manufacturer representatives within assigned vertical to coordinate co-branded marketing efforts and co-op funded programs
- Develop industry-specific product knowledge to effectively communicate features, benefits, and applications in marketing materials
- Support the development of promotional campaigns, seasonal programs, and product launches in coordination with category management and purchasing teams
- Assist with content creation including blog posts, case studies, customer testimonials, and product spotlight features
- Coordinate marketing requests from branch locations and regional sales teams, serving as a liaison between the field and centralized marketing
- Track and manage marketing project timelines using project management tools such as Monday.com or Wrike
- Maintain organized digital asset libraries, ensuring marketing materials are current, accessible, and properly archived
- Compile campaign performance reports and provide regular updates on key metrics to the Director of Industry Marketing
- Support trade show logistics including booth coordination, promotional materials, lead capture setup, and post-event follow-up
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices within the assigned vertical
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 2-4 years of experience in marketing coordination, campaign execution, or related marketing roles
- Proficiency with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar tools
- Experience managing social media accounts and familiarity with Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, and social media scheduling tools
- Working knowledge of CRM systems and database management
- Familiarity with project management software such as Monday.com or Wrike (preferred)
- Basic understanding of digital marketing principles including SEO, paid social, and display advertising
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-starter with ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment
- Experience in B2B marketing, wholesale distribution, or trades industries (HVAC, plumbing, appliance) a plus
- Basic graphic design skills or familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools a plus
- Willingness to travel occasionally for events, trade shows, and branch visits (up to 15%)

- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds for transporting marketing materials and event supplies
