Job summary

KTUA is seeking a creative professional to support its planning and landscape architecture firm through all proposal phases, from pre-RFP strategy to final submittal. The role is based in the San Diego office and involves collaborating with project managers, senior staff, and consultants to produce high-quality responses to RFQs and RFPs.

The ideal candidate has a marketing-related degree and 2–3 years of experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Marketing, Business, English, Communications/Graphics, or related field is required.
• 2–3 years of marketing experience, ideally in the AEC industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Illustrator.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work on multiple proposals daily.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead the entire proposal lifecycle from RFQs/RFPs through final submission.
• Coordinate proposal materials with internal and external team members.
• Produce final proposal deliverables: export, print, bind, and delivery by deadlines.
• Proofread for consistency, grammar, and compliance with instructions.
• Maintain company information library: resumes, project sheets, imagery, references, certifications.
• Website content maintenance and social media support.
• Attend daytime and evening industry events.
• Schedule and facilitate proposal kickoff/review meetings.
• Maintain brand consistency across materials.
• Perform additional marketing coordination and administrative duties.

KTUA is looking for an inspired, creative, and motivated individual with a passion to help support a planning and landscape architecture firm through all phases of the proposal process, from pre-RFP strategy to final submittal. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with project managers, senior staff, and consultants to gather, organize, and produce high-quality responses to RFPs and RFQs. Our projects are primarily located throughout Southern and Central California, and this role will be based in our San Diego office.

Key Responsibilities:

Salary Range:

$65k - $70k, commensurate with experience
