• Forecast and track marketing and sales trends; analyze data
• Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies with stakeholders
• Devise data collection methods (surveys, polls, etc.)
• Gather data on competitors and analyze pricing and distribution
• Measure effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs

Summary

The main function of a marketing analyst/coordinator is to research market conditions in local, regional, or national areas to determine potential sales of a product or service. A typical marketing analyst/coordinator is responsible for gathering information on competitors and methods of marketing and distribution.

Responsibilities

• Sample management
• Demo pool manager ($1M annual budget ownership)
• Evaluation, qualifying ROI for the demo opportunities
• Manage SAP system update and tracking for internal purpose
• Process TTI & Finance invoices monthly
• Inventory and supply management and reporting
• MDF management and FOC submission
• Market/competitive intelligence
• Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data.
• Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters, and other professionals.
• Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data.
• Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution.
• Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; MS or MBA preferred
• 2+ years of Industry experience
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PPT, etc.
• Experience working in large, matrix organizations
• Excellent written & oral communication skills with proven ability to provide clarity in complex situations
• Experience producing highly effective presentations to communicate with internal and external customers, and executives
• Passion for creating great customer experiences and for solving problems
• Ability to work independently, quickly, and thoroughly to prioritize and complete tasks and meet deadlines
• Experience in sales or marketing
• Experience in supporting (e.g., sales, customer support, supply chain) a product or technology in consumer electronics or B2B
• Experienced working within multi-tiered sales organization with direct customers and channel/distribution partners
• Solid analytical and quantitative skills
• Familiar with PSI, CPFR and P&L process
