The Marketing Coordinator role is responsible for translating the Company's marketing strategy into consistent, timely, and effective execution across the store network. This position serves as a key connection between Marketing, Operations, Merchandising, vendors, and field locations to ensure promotions, signage, point-of-purchase materials, marketing programs, and brand initiatives are executed accurately and efficiently.
The role manages store-level marketing requests, promotional materials, field communications, marketing programs, and community and corporate events. This position is highly organized, service-oriented, and results-oriented, ensuring Marketing initiatives are rolled out effectively across Company locations while maintaining brand standards.
Essential Functions
- Store Communications & Field Support: Coordinate marketing communications, promotional rollouts, new store marketing needs, and other information required by field locations. Provide excellent customer service through email and phone support, respond to questions, troubleshoot issues, and follow through to resolution.
- POP, Signage & Marketing Materials: Create, coordinate, order, and distribute point-of-purchase print and digital materials for in-store campaigns and promotions, including signage, displays, pump materials, windows, menu boards, and seasonal marketing materials.
- Merchandising & Promotional Execution: Partner with Merchandising, Operations, category managers, vendors, and other stakeholders to coordinate promotional launches, marketing calendars, product initiatives, and delivery of materials to stores.
- Field Marketing & Brand Activation: Coordinate the implementation of marketing programs across Company locations and ensure materials and initiatives are implemented accurately, consistently, and on schedule.
- Store Request Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for store-level marketing requests; intake, prioritize, coordinate, track, and complete requests while ensuring appropriate communication and follow-through.
- Marketing Program Management: Manage assigned marketing programs, including the Giving Pump program and highway logo program, ensuring timelines, materials, vendors, and communications are coordinated effectively.
- Promotional Merchandise: Coordinate the ordering, inventory, and distribution of swag and promotional merchandise for marketing campaigns, community initiatives, and promotional events.
- Community & Corporate Events: Coordinate logistics, materials, promotional items, vendors, and other marketing needs for Company, community, and promotional events. This includes working with leadership to organize corporate events including the corporate Christmas party (menu, venue, etc.).
- Brand Standards & Execution: Partner with the Digital Marketing & Brand Strategy function to translate brand standards and creative direction into effective store-level roll outs.
- Process Improvement: Develop and improve processes, tracking tools, communication methods, and workflows that improve the efficiency and consistency of marketing programs across the Company.
- Performance & Reporting: Track completion, requests, programs and other operational metrics, and communicate any issues, trends, and opportunities to Marketing leadership.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with Operations, Merchandising, vendors, agencies, and field leadership to ensure marketing initiatives are completed effectively.

- Ability to coordinate vendors, print production, materials, shipping, and distribution.
- Strong understanding of brand consistency and the importance of execution across a multi-location environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicable project management, communication, and marketing systems.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly to Company locations.
Education and Experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in marketing operations, retail marketing, project coordination, merchandising support, event coordination, or a related field.
- Experience coordinating promotions, signage, POP materials, vendors, and store-level execution preferred.
- Retail, convenience, consumer, or multi-location experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform work in an office environment and use a computer and other office equipment for extended periods.
- Ability to walk through and work within retail locations and other Company facilities.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, climb a step stool, and occasionally lift or carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to communicate effectively by phone, email, and in person.
- Combination of office and field environments, including Company stores, outdoor fueling areas, warehouses, events, vendor locations, and community locations.
- May include exposure to varying weather conditions, vehicle traffic, retail environments, and other field conditions.
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required based on events and business needs.
Required Travel
- Regular travel to Company stores and other Company locations.
- Occasional travel to vendors, community events, corporate events, and other business locations.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
