Levi & Korsinsky, LLP is a national law firm with a growing consumer practice focused on class actions, data breach and privacy matters, mass arbitrations, and other complex litigation. Our teams combine sophisticated legal strategy, technology, data, and operational discipline to pursue meaningful results for our clients.
We are seeking a Marketing & Conference Analyst to act as the firm's conference and event scout while supporting its growing marketing function. This full-time role centers on conference and speaking-opportunity research — identifying, vetting, and tracking events for firm leadership to speak at, attend, and scout — alongside flexible support across the firm's broader marketing projects. The analyst will gain hands‑on exposure to how a national law firm identifies strategic opportunities, builds its presence at industry events, and coordinates marketing efforts across multiple channels.
The ideal candidate is resourceful, organized, curious, a fast learner, and comfortable conducting detailed research across multiple platforms. We are looking for someone with strong research instincts, excellent follow-through, and the ability to turn research into clear, actionable recommendations. Legal industry experience is not required, but a genuine interest in both marketing and the legal industry is a strong plus.
What You'll Do
- Research legal and marketing conferences, networking events, industry programs, awards, sponsorship opportunities, panels, and other opportunities for firm leadership to speak at, attend, and scout.
- Identify speaking engagements for firm leadership and attorneys, including calls for speakers, panel opportunities, submission deadlines, audience information, and organizer contacts.
- Attend select conferences and networking events on the firm's behalf, gather on‑ground intelligence — key takeaways, attendees, speakers, and contacts worth pursuing — and report back with clear recommendations.
- Build and own a live conference pipeline — organized trackers covering conferences, speaking opportunities, deadlines, costs, submission requirements, contacts, and recommended next steps.
- Vet conference agendas, audiences, and costs closely and make clear go/no‑go recommendations on which events firm leadership should attend, speak at, or skip — proactively flagging registration deadlines and early‑bird pricing.
- Contact conference organizers directly to negotiate registration rates, sponsorship packages, and speaking opportunities.
- Use multi‑channel sourcing strategies across LinkedIn, industry associations, conference platforms, publications, newsletters, social media, search engines, and other relevant sources to uncover new conference opportunities.
- Research peer firms, competitors, industry trends, and emerging legal and marketing topics to identify ideas that can strengthen the firm's visibility and positioning.
- Assist with the firm's content and marketing calendar, including planning around conferences, firm initiatives, attorney visibility, social media, and timely industry moments.
- As needed, support the drafting and organization of speaker submissions, award and recognition submissions, attorney bios, event descriptions, social copy, marketing materials, and other brand‑facing content.
- Develop and maintain contact lists for conference organizers, professional associations, marketing partners, media contacts, and other relevant industry relationships — and analyze attendee and speaker lists to recommend who the firm should connect with and why.
- Take on ad‑hoc research assignments and special projects dispatched by firm leadership, and provide coordination support for marketing projects, events, and follow‑up reporting as needed.
What You Bring
- Recent graduate (or graduating senior) holding or completing a degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business, advertising, or a related field.
- Strong interest in marketing research, conferences and events, professional services marketing, business development, or related work.
- Excellent research skills and the ability to find, compare, organize, and validate information from multiple online sources.
- Comfort with multi‑channel sourcing, including LinkedIn, search engines, industry websites, associations, publications, newsletters, and social platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to tone, clarity, professionalism, and brand consistency.
- Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, trackers, contacts, and research projects at once.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, shared documents, online research tools, and basic marketing or productivity platforms.
- Confidence working directly with firm leadership — taking loosely defined assignments and running with them independently.
- Willingness to attend conferences, networking events, and industry programs in person on the firm's behalf.
- Ability to work on‑site in New York City on a full‑time basis with initiative, reliability, and strong follow‑through.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship, campus, freelance, or project experience in marketing, communications, events, research, business development, or brand management.
- Experience researching conferences, events, professional associations, speaking opportunities, sponsorships, or partnerships.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, Canva, Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, social media platforms, or similar tools.
- Exposure to legal, professional services, B2B, agency, or corporate marketing environments is helpful but not required.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in helping build and improve a growing marketing function rather than simply following a fixed playbook.
