Job summary

Western Industrial, an Arizona-based industrial contractor, seeks a creative, organized communicator to lead marketing and internal communications. You will own content creation, social channels, and external materials, while also supporting the CEO with scheduling and special projects.

The role combines marketing (80%) with executive support (20%), including events, campaigns, and vendor management. Office visits to job sites are required, with travel within Arizona possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years of experience in marketing or communications in construction/industrial/B2B sectors.
• Strong portfolio with social content, writing samples, and visuals.
• Hands-on skills with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, basic video editing, and social scheduling tools.
• Experience running paid social/digital ad campaigns.
• Event planning experience.
• Excellent writing and ability to write in the CEO's voice.
• Highly organized with deadlines and multitasking ability.
• Comfortable on active job sites with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and publish content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other channels.
• Visit job sites to capture photos and video of crews, equipment, and work.
• Manage paid advertising for recruiting and business development; track budget results.
• Maintain and update the company website with projects, capabilities, and openings.
• Develop client-facing materials: capability statements, case studies, proposals support, brochures, displays.
• Collaborate with the CEO to write and produce messages for employees.
• Plan and run company events such as safety awards, holidays, and client events.
• Coordinate branded apparel, signage, and vehicle graphics.
• Manage external vendors (photographers, printers, web developers, agencies).
• Manage the CEO's calendar, meetings, and travel arrangements.
• Draft/edit correspondence, presentations, and reports for the CEO.
• Prepare leadership/board meeting materials.
• Handle confidential information with discretion.
• Take on special projects as assigned by the CEO.
