Qualifications

• Current student, Sophomore or higher.
• Pursuing a degree in Strategic Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism, or Social Media.
• Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week) or part-time during the school year (up to 20 hours a week) and commute to the designated work location in-person.

Responsibilities

• Gain a broad look at the marketing and communications needs of a major corporation.
• Write, coordinate projects, publish digital content, create digital signage and assist in the planning and execution of special events.
• Participate in initiatives across the department, such as social media coordination, data analysis, and reporting on campaign outcomes.
• Connect by informational interviews and job shadows to understand how your work intersects with other areas of Xcel Energy.
