Job summary

Meso Scale Diagnostics in Rockville, MD is seeking a Director, Marketing Communications to lead the MarCom team spanning content, campaigns and regional marketing. You will collaborate with Product Marketing and Digital Marketing to plan and execute omnichannel campaigns that meet strategic business needs.

Key duties include driving integrated campaigns and events, refining brand standards, managing media relations and thought leadership, and defining KPIs for engagement and lead generation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, marketing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing communications in life sciences.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience.
• Experience with Salesforce, Marketo/Pardot, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
• Experience managing vendors, budgets, and performance analytics.

Responsibilities

• Drive integrated multichannel campaigns with Product Marketing and Digital Marketing.
• Manage presence at tradeshows, symposia, and webinars.
• Project manage campaigns and events from planning through execution and follow-up.
• Ensure campaigns and event marketing are brand-aligned across channels.
• Lead MarCom team and coordinate with cross-functional groups.
• Define and track KPIs for engagement, brand awareness, conversion and content effectiveness.
