Job summary

Crawford, Murphy & Tilly is seeking a Marketing Communications Coordinator I to join our Indianapolis, IN team. This full-time role supports the creation and distribution of brand and marketing communications across multiple channels.

You will help develop content, manage campaigns, and ensure consistency with CMT’s brand standards while collaborating with a diverse group of colleagues across offices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 0 – 3 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, or marketing efforts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and/or digital marketing platforms.
  • Novice or basic understanding of A/E/C industry terminology and procedures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and active listening skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines and multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Basic copywriting, proofreading, and editing skills.
  • Ability to apply creativity to develop engaging content and improve processes.
  • Basic problem solving and critical thinking skills to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement solutions.
  • Ability to demonstrate responsiveness, professionalism, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Support marketing-focused communications, including industry award submissions, service and project marketing resources, thought leadership, marketing collateral, and sales or marketing enablement materials.
  • Create, edit, proofread, and distribute content for website, blog, social media, digital signage, and other digital channels.
  • Contribute to editorial planning, campaign execution, content testing, and digital marketing or social media scheduling.
  • Use calls to action, campaign tracking tools, and other measurement practices to improve effectiveness and measurability of communications.
  • Generate and collaboratively analyze campaign and content performance reports; help document insights and recommendations for future work.
  • Support alignment with brand standards across communication channels and deliverables.
  • Use marketing, communications, project-management, and design software to develop content and follow team processes.
  • Build and maintain cooperative relationships with Marketing & Communications teammates, technical staff, subject-matter experts, and internal clients.
  • Submit accurate, audience-centered work for review and approval in a timely manner.
  • Uphold Marketing & Communications Teams standards and brand usage guidelines.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and innovations.
  • Align with and embrace CMTs mission and core values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Crawford, Murphy & Tilly is seeking a Marketing Communications Coordinator to join the Indianapolis, IN, Springfield, IL, or St. Louis, MO Communications team. This is not a remote position.

As a Marketing Communications Coordinator I, you'll play a key role in supporting the creation and distribution of brand and marketing communications. This role helps strengthen CMT's brand, highlight the firm’s workplace culture, and connect internal and external audiences with CMT's people, expertise, and impact.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Support marketing-focused communications, including industry award submissions, service and project marketing resources, thought leadership, marketing collateral, and sales or marketing enablement materials.

The expected compensation range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 annually. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on numerous factors, including but not limited to individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic location.
