Houston Grand Opera is seeking a Marketing Communications Coordinator to support the Audiences Department with email campaign management, advertising and promotions to boost ticket sales and audience engagement.
You will ensure messages reflect HGO’s voice across platforms, collaborate with data teams to segment lists, and help grow subscriptions while maintaining a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Marketing, the Marketing Communications Coordinator supports multiple functions with HGO’s fast-paced Audiences Department with a primary focus on email campaign management. This role will also actively support advertising and promotional efforts to increase single and subscription ticket sales, audience retention and audience engagement, and promotion of the HGO Brand. This position executes various tasks to support marketing objectives, including driving continued audience growth initiatives and ensuring clear, consistent communication that reflects Houston Grand Opera’s voice across platforms and initiatives.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, high energy and exceptionally strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must. An eye for detail and quality control is imperative, as well as being able to multi-task and prioritize effectively. An enthusiastic, proactive and collaborative professional manner required.
