Overview:

PTS Advance is partnering with a global leader undergoing a large-scale digital transformation. We’re seeking a Strategic Communications & Engagement Consultant on a contract basis to support internal and client-facing engagement initiatives. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced freelancer with a background in storytelling, executive communications, and change enablement—especially in the context of digital product innovation.

This contract role offers flexible working hours across a three-month assignment, collaborating with international teams in North America and the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Storytelling & Messaging: Develop compelling narratives that articulate the value of digital transformation and product innovation to internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Change Communications: Partner with leadership to support change initiatives with thoughtful, clear, and engaging messaging that drives adoption and alignment.
• Presentation & Collateral Development: Design high-impact executive-level presentations and content for internal briefings, leadership updates, and sector/client communications.
• Simplify Complex Concepts: Translate technical, digital, and data-driven content into accessible, business-relevant messaging for a non-technical audience.
• Executive Communications: Draft communications on behalf of C-level leaders to reflect strategic direction, vision, and tone.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across product, digital, and sector teams to ensure consistency and clarity in all communications.
• Thought Leadership Support: Help shape and refine thought leadership content, maintaining the distinct voice and credibility of subject matter experts.
• Regional Sensitivity: Tailor messaging for varied audiences across the U.S., Canada, and the UK, accounting for regional nuances.
• Market Awareness: Use insights and research to align communications with broader industry challenges and trends in sectors such as infrastructure, energy, and utilities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years of experience in strategic communications, change communications, or corporate storytelling
• Agency, journalism, or consulting background highly preferred
• Excellent copywriting and editing skills with a strong portfolio of executive-level materials
• Comfortable operating across time zones and cultures in a collaborative, matrixed environment
• Experience in industries such as energy, infrastructure, or digital services is a plus
• Freelance / Contract
• Flexibility for full or part time work
• 3 months duration (with possibility of extension)
• Flexible working days/hours per week
• Fully remote (EST TZ)
