Trevor Day School is seeking a creative Marketing & Communications Associate to enhance its external marketing and internal communications. This full-time role involves a blend of content creation, editing, and collaboration across departments, providing a platform for professional growth in a vibrant educational environment.
Trevor Day School seeks a creative and tech-savvy Marketing & Communications Associate who will help support the School’s external marketing and internal communications efforts. The position offers exposure to diverse projects and responsibilities, as well as opportunities for collaboration between departments and varied professional development. It is an in-person position, moving between two campus buildings, and it reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Communications.
Qualifications include:
Bachelor’s degree required
One+ year of experience preferred; new college graduates with previous applicable internship experience may apply
Strong oral and written communications skills
Impeccable editorial and proofreading skills
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva
Proficiency in video editing
Experience with content creation and optimization
Effective organizational and time management skills
Ability to interface with varied stakeholders including administration, faculty, parents, students, and alumni
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

Flexibility and creativity
Core responsibilities:
Photography and videography of the school in action, and for scheduled events
Video editing
Content strategy, acquisition, and creation
Content performance analysis
Maintain photography and videography archives
Copyedit materials including admissions brochures, digital newsletters, social media content, magazines, fundraising collateral, and website copy
Produce materials including but not limited to fliers, a school directory, and lower school yearbook
Liaise with vendors to facilitate orders of branded items; maintain inventory
Administrative support including managing the Marketing & Communications Department calendar and office, submitting purchase orders
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing & Communications, Asst. Director of Marketing & Communications, or Head of School
The full-time salary range for this position is $52,000–$65,000. The school also offers a competitive benefits package. When extending an offer for employment, Trevor Day School bases the salary upon several factors that include (but are not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education, training, key skills, and peer salary equity.
