Description

As a Campaign Strategist on the Reputation Marketing and Insights team, you will be responsible for developing paid messaging and integrated campaign strategies for reputational campaigns. This includes guiding the overall campaign narrative across earned, owned, and paid channels to achieve campaign goals. You will collaborate with the research team to build on existing insights, identify learning gaps, and produce concise guiding insights, messages, and proof points to maximize impact. Additionally, you will monitor the external environment in which Amazon's campaigns operate and stay informed about upcoming developments and announcements. The strategy team ensures comprehensive execution of cross-functional campaigns that deliver results greater than the sum of individual parts.

The role requires resourcefulness, strategic thinking, translating research into messaging, and adapting to rapid change and ambiguity. The scope is vast but meaningful and energizing. This is an individual contributor role.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Identifying and communicating research needs for campaign strategy development.
  2. Developing paid campaign messaging and briefs driven by core insights from data and research.
  3. Collaborating with multiple stakeholders to develop an integrated marketing plan based on insights and cross-channel strategies.
  4. Aligning deliverables with key stakeholder teams.
  5. Managing a substance repository with research insights and legal language.
  6. Working with research and creative teams to develop testing protocols to optimize campaign content.
  7. Proposing future actions and campaign substance to elevate Amazon’s reputation.

About The Team

This team operates within the Communications and Corporate Responsibility (CCR) organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional marketing experience.
  • Experience managing acquisition marketing or channel programs.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel or Tableau.
  • Experience executing cross-functional marketing programs.
  • Experience managing campaigns across multiple time zones and languages.
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Leadership in aligning large cross-functional teams and agency partners.
  • Experience with joint marketing plans with global strategic partners.
