Cooley LLP seeks a Marketing & Client Development Senior Manager of Governance, Planning & Operations to join the Marketing & Client Development team in Los Angeles. The role drives strategy, scalable infrastructure, and data-informed decision making to elevate market performance.

Responsibilities include planning governance, budgeting, resource coordination, MarTech administration, workflow design, and staff training, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration and change management for risk

Qualifications

• 7+ years in marketing or business development with 2+ years of management experience.
• Experience in professional services or B2B marketing.
• Ability to travel and work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and govern annual and ad-hoc planning cycles for the M&CD organization.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, variance reporting, and spend optimization.
• Coordinate headcount planning and onboarding of contractors and agency partners.
• Manage MarTech stack tracking, auditing, and optimization with cross-functional teams.
• Design and implement standardized workflows to speed time-to-market.
• Deliver ongoing training on firm systems and processes.
