Hey there, before you get down to the template for a marketing job provided by Indeed, here’s a quick explanation of the gig:
We’re a small business located in Los Angeles, we sell fabric online and have a warehouse east of downtown. We’ve been around for over 15 years, and are a very small but successful family style operation. We’ve grown organically over the years, and have gotten to the point where we need someone to help us grow! We’re the opposite of the corporate vibe, which we like, but that also requires a very specific kind of person for our team. Think self starter, able to work with minimal micromanaging, experienced and motivated, honest, etc, etc. This could work for someone who works freelance for a couple of companies and wants to take us on, or as someone who wants to be hired full time and just work for us. There really is a lot of room to grow, we don’t mind paying you more if you’re helping us earn more revenue. Most importantly we need someone trustworthy, smart, motivated, able to maintain relationships and work well with others, and of course with the general skill set of a marketing and business development. We currently employ agencies to manage our ads, so we need someone who can really guide them as well as do email campaigns and other forms of marketing (social media a plus!). We’re already a thriving business, but there’s so much more we can be doing, and we need someone to help take us to the next level. This won’t be a cookie cutter gig with clearly defined responsibilities, you’ll have to be super flexible and figure a lot out on your own. We have a couple of websites as well as stores on Amazon and Etsy, etc.
If this is a good fit for you it should start to resonate, but obviously there’s a lot more to discuss. A very high priority is working with someone who we like and who likes us, we’re a bunch of nice people just trying to run a company in a ethical yet profitable way. Must live in the Los Angeles area and be able to meet up in person sometimes and come to our warehouse too. Job can be MOSTLY remote, or if better for you we have office space you can come to every day. You wouldn’t have to work weekends generally speaking, but again some flexibility is desired.
Thanks for your interest!
