Description
The Marketing Automation Manager supports B2B marketing programs by building, optimizing, and maintaining the systems that power revenue‑generating campaigns. This role partners with Marketing, Sales, Revenue Operations, IT, and Demand Generation to ensure campaign execution, marketing automation, lead flow, and performance measurement are effectively managed across Marketo, Qualified, Salesforce, and other go‑to‑market technologies.
You’ll make an impact by
- Support the execution of Marketo‑based marketing programs, including email campaigns, nurture programs, webinars, events, newsletters, content marketing, and go‑to‑market initiatives.
- Build and maintain campaign assets in Marketo and Qualified, including emails, forms, landing pages, templates, nurture streams, and audience segments.
- Perform database maintenance and segmentation activities, including list pulls, uploads, data enrichment, lead assignment updates, and reporting.
- Partner with Digital Marketing to test campaigns end‑to‑end and ensure they meet accessibility standards, digital best practices, and compatibility requirements across supported browsers and web configurations.
- Develop and implement A/B testing plans based on established protocols, campaign hypotheses, and prior performance insights.
- Monitor lead flow from website to Marketo to Salesforce, identify process issues, and recommend improvements to drive accuracy and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot routine data and system issues within marketing operations platforms and advance more complex issues as needed.
- Document and maintain campaign processes and workflows to support accurate data quality, and campaign execution.
- Partner with Marketing and Sales team members to gather campaign requirements, provide status updates, and support campaign analysis.
- Assist with marketing technology stack enhancements, including requirements gathering, testing, documentation, and integration support.
- Prepare recurring reports on campaign effectiveness, email performance, lead engagement, conversion metrics, and other marketing operations indicators.
- Analyze performance by audience segment, campaign, company classification, and other meaningful dimensions to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
- Support evolving business needs by contributing to additional projects, initiatives, and responsibilities as required.
This Is How You'll Win Us Over
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- 5-8 years of experience in Marketing Operations or Revenue Operations, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Experience supporting B2B demand generation, customer marketing, and sales programs through marketing automation platforms.
- Advanced proficiency with Marketo and Salesforce is required.
- Experience with Qualified or similar agentic AI, conversational AI, or SDR platforms is preferred.
- Experience with marketing technology administration, campaign execution, database management, lead management, reporting, and analytics.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify issues, recommend solutions, and drive improvements.
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts, requirements, and performance insights for technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Customer‑focused perspective with the ability to collaborate effectively across Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, IT, and Demand Generation teams.
- Experience managing campaign requests, dependencies, timelines, and deliverables in a project management platform such as Asana, Monday, etc.
- Experience in cybersecurity, software security, SaaS, or technology organizations is preferred.
