Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Marketing Automation Manager in Houston, TX to shape the systems and processes powering our marketing engine. You will design scalable automation workflows, optimize CRM data flows, and enable smarter decision-making through reliable reporting.

This role blends strategy and execution, partnering with senior marketing leaders, strategy, sales operations, and technical teams to build an efficient, connected marketing technology ecosystem designed for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in marketing automation, marketing operations, CRM, or related technology roles.
• Strong understanding of analytics, reporting, and digital marketing systems.
• Comfort working with technical teams and translating business needs into clear solutions.
• Process-driven mindset with focus on scalable, repeatable systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and time zones.
• Experience supporting senior stakeholders with insights and operational recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy and ongoing improvement of our marketing automation ecosystem.
• Design and manage scalable workflows, lead journeys, and campaign automation.
• Oversee the CRM and related marketing systems, including governance and data quality.
• Coordinate integrations between websites, digital tools, analytics platforms, and internal systems.
• Build reporting, dashboards, and insights that help guide marketing decisions.
• Partner with technical teams to define priorities, requirements, and solutions.
• Help establish repeatable, well-documented processes that improve consistency and efficiency.
• Work with leaders across marketing, sales, and strategy to support key business goals.
• Guide and prioritize work for marketing technologists and analysts across teams.
