Job Summary

Applies thorough knowledge of marketing automation, CRM, and database operations to maintain the quality, reliability, optimization, and day-to-day performance of Eloqua backend data infrastructure and related marketing technologies. Independently supports database health, system integrations, audits, performance monitoring, optimization, documentation, and approved technical initiatives, partnering with senior technical staff on highly complex issues or broader system strategy. Maintains and improves automation data feeds, data mapping, system connections, troubleshooting, reporting, database integrations, and data hygiene. Evaluates moderately complex issues, recommends practical solutions, and supports approved enhancements and technical initiatives in Eloqua, CRM platforms, and related systems in partnership with the Senior Architect or Senior Manager.


Job Description

To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully. Executes on established best practices and professional judgment to support Eloqua and CRM infrastructure, including lead scoring, profiling, segmentation, system integration, data hygiene, optimization, troubleshooting, and reporting. Maintains and administers marketing automation and CRM platforms by monitoring system functionality, resolving recurring and moderately complex issues, documenting solutions, and escalating highly complex technical concerns when appropriate. Maintains established marketing automation standards for data quality and hygiene, list management, optimization, auditing, and troubleshooting; identifies issues, evaluates impact, and recommends improvement opportunities for review or implementation. Performs routine database maintenance activities, including list management, deduplication efforts, data validation, field mapping verification, and monitoring of integration processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability. Monitors and maintains large data sets, performs data‑quality checks, documents findings, investigates root causes, and supports remediation efforts across marketing systems and databases. Creates, maintains, and updates technical documentation, operating procedures, configuration records, and process guides related to marketing automation platforms and database operations. Participates on cross‑functional teams and performs technical tasks involving sales and marketing tools, databases, engagement milestones, and approved campaign requirements. Supports and coordinates the implementation, testing, validation, and ongoing support of system integrations between marketing technologies, CRM platforms, data warehouses, and other approved business applications. Conducts technical evaluations, testing, documentation, and implementation tasks for approved technologies, platform enhancements, and add‑on applications. Analyzes marketing and sales data to identify trends, data‑quality concerns, operational issues, and opportunities for process improvement; develops findings and recommendations for senior technical staff and business partners. Supports user access administration, security controls, and platform governance processes based on established policies and approved business requirements. Contributes to technical project activities including requirements gathering, solution testing, user acceptance testing, implementation support, and post‑deployment validation; identifies risks, documents outcomes, and recommends follow‑up actions. Provides operational support to marketing and sales teams by troubleshooting platform issues, researching root causes, documenting resolutions, and ensuring timely handling of service requests. Stays current on marketing automation capabilities, industry trends, and platform enhancements; applies knowledge to identify process improvements and recommend practical changes that improve platform effectiveness, data quality, or operational efficiency. Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience


  • 4+ years of related experience in marketing automation, database operations, CRM data, or data quality.

  • Eloqua or comparable platform experience is preferred.

  • 4+ years of experience supporting technical projects, audits, system maintenance, data‑quality processes, or database optimization efforts.

  • Track record of performance excellence meeting targets and objectives.

  • Working knowledge and experience with quantitative analysis, statistics, etc.

  • Experience in data and analytics management, including the use of predictive modeling to develop accurate market and product forecasts.

  • Ability to analyze business needs and formulate them into effective marketing strategies.


Education


  • Four‑year college degree or equivalent.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Information Technology or related field.


Licenses, Certificates, Registrations


  • Eloqua Product Master Certification

  • Salesforce Certified Database Administrator

  • Adobe Analytics Certification


Computer/Office Equipment Skills


  • Must be proficient with the Eloqua, Salesforce, SugarCRM or like systems.

  • Solid experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex data issues undefined
