Databento is the next-generation market data provider — with the radical idea that you should only pay for the data that you use. We power the world's largest finance and fintech institutions.

Responsibilities

1. Help oversee the company's GTM, digital media, growth metrics, and overall marketing plan.
2. Lead or co-lead social media on LinkedIn and Twitter, including short-form posts, technical blog posts, videos, polls, etc.
3. Create PR, partnerships, case studies, and co-marketing opportunities with other companies.
4. Improve SEO and SEM strategies, digital ad placements, backlink opportunities, and website optimizations.
5. Execute inbound and outbound campaigns; track metrics to assess ROI.
6. Research competitors and their marketing strategies.
7. Collaborate with executives on budget, branding, and company direction, including agency decisions.
8. Create and maintain a strong brand and company image.

Desired Qualifications

1. Excellent communication skills across various platforms (social media, blogs, press releases, conferences).
2. 0-2 years of internship or work experience in B2B SaaS marketing areas like SEO, digital marketing, growth marketing, social media, or PR.
3. Interest in engaging with our community of quants and developers on LinkedIn and Twitter.
4. Knowledge of CRMs like Hubspot, SEO metrics, growth metrics, and content analytics.
5. Interest in quant trading, market data, or the financial industry.
6. Desire to work at a fast-growing fintech startup.

We pay market rate for all roles, starting at $60-80k base salary, with equity, benefits, and performance bonuses. Salary details are managed via Carta.
