Work Summary:
As Fundamental Health’s Marketing Associate you will support and execute marketing initiatives to elevate the organization’s brand presence, foster community engagement, and drive fundraising success. This role involves creating and implementing multi-channel marketing strategies, developing content, and collaborating across teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns that align with the organization’s goals and brand identity.
Key Responsibilities:
The contractor’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Campaign Development and Execution:
- Support the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns tailored to organizational goals.
- Develop marketing materials and ensure they align with brand guidelines and objectives.
- Plan and execute marketing strategies for events, including pre-event promotions and post-event recaps.
Content Creation:
- Write and edit engaging content for email campaigns, social media posts, and website updates.
- Collaborate with the design team to produce visually appealing assets that align with the brand identity.
- Assist in crafting fundraising-focused content to drive donor engagement and support.
Event Marketing Support:
- Coordinate marketing efforts for events, including promotions, logistical communications, and stakeholder updates.
- Manage event-related email and social media outreach to maximize participation and engagement.
Digital Marketing Analytics:
- Create, schedule, and track email campaigns for community building, fundraising, and brand visibility.
- Plan and execute social media strategies, including content creation, scheduling, and performance analysis.
- Monitor and analyze marketing metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and social media engagement to refine strategies and report on campaign effectiveness.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with business development, clinical, and design teams to ensure cohesive execution of campaigns.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to align marketing efforts with broader organizational objectives.
- Maintain consistent communication across teams to ensure alignment on goals, messaging, and timelines.
Brand and Messaging Consistency:
- Ensure messaging and tone are cohesive across all marketing channels, including email, social media, and event materials.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure visual elements reflect the organization’s mission and branding.
Timely Delivery:
- Execute marketing tasks according to established deadlines and campaign objectives.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or event planning, with a focus on digital marketing and campaign execution.
- Experience in nonprofit fundraising or community engagement is a plus.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Google Workspace.)
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms and social media management tools.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools to assist with creating simple visual content.
- Understanding of content management systems (CMS) for website updates.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills for crafting compelling marketing content across email, social media, and other platforms.
- Ability to develop social media campaigns, including content creation, scheduling, and performance tracking.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to email campaigns and website content.
More Optional Skills:
- Event planning and coordination skills, including logistics, promotion, and post-event communication.
- Experience with data tracking and performance analytics to measure the success of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly
- Able to interpret campaign metrics (open rates, click-through rates, engagement) and create reports for stakeholders.
Working Conditions:
- Environment: Fully remote position requiring reliable internet access and a professional, quiet workspace.
- Hours: Flexible schedule with mandatory agreed upon availability for virtual meetings and client interactions, including occasional evenings and weekends.
