Job summary

Appalachian Wireless is seeking a Marketing Associate to support the Marketing Department through logistics, administration, and analytics. The role requires a solid grasp of marketing platforms, including email, social, and content marketing, with a track record of independent project progression.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year in marketing, an Associate’s Degree, strong organizational skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in marketing preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; helpful if related to technology-driven products.
• Familiarity with or aptitude for working with a technology-driven product is helpful.
• Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding proofreading skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the marketing department's initiatives with planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, or content marketing.
• Independently coordinate marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, coordinating with vendors, and ordering marketing items.
• Track deliverables and deadlines with marketing partnership agreements and sponsorships.
• Maintain records of invoices, sponsorships, donations.
• Assist with developing and managing content and social media marketing programs.
• Evaluate and monitor campaign performance by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports.
• Organize and track promotional items.
• Complete daily tasks as needed for marketing department.
