Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist with marketing research, product launches, brand promotions, and test markets.
• Implement marketing campaigns, including product positioning and market insights.
• Attend weekly meetings with the marketing team to align strategies.
• Update website content on a day-to-day basis.
• Create social media campaigns and develop marketing assets.
• Maintain resort social media, respond to questions, and post timely content.
• Monitor website and marketing analytics to inform decisions.
• Capture and edit photos/videos; post to sites and edit video for marketing use.
• Identify opportunities for revenue growth and improve existing strategies.
• Coordinate with management on media relations and communications.

The Marketing Associate is responsible for a variety of marketing and analysis activities for the area of assigned responsibility. This is a full-time position and reports to the Marketing Manager. This position is in office located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with marketing research, product launches, brand promotions, and test markets
• Implement marketing campaigns, including product positioning, campaign strategies, and market insights
• Attend product knowledge and marketing communication strategy meetings with the marketing team every week
• Day to day updating of website content
• Work with the marketing team to create social media campaigns and creative assets
• Maintain resort social media sites to include the creation of timely and engaging content and graphics. Also, respond timely to social media questions/comments
• Monitor website and other marketing-related data analytics
• Take, edit and enhance digital photos and videos and handle posting to sites
• Edit video footage to create marketing videos for use on multiple platforms
• Identify marketing & business opportunities for revenue along with weaknesses in existing employed marketing strategies needing to be over-turned
• Communicate with management on projects dealing with media relations, business communications, etc
• Participate in staff and training meetings
• Participate in other projects and activities as assigned

Education/Training/Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, advertising, and/or journalism is preferred
